Digital Phones have been the mainstay of telephony for the last 20 years, offering superior and guaranteed voice quality.
The IP Office 9500 range is the premium digital phone range for IP Office with all the features you'd expect in robust business-quality handsets.
Designed to serve the needs of a wide range of business users, the IP Office 1400 series digital deskphones offer a contemporary design with advanced audio technology and productivity enhancing features.
Avaya has 2 ranges of digital phones that will work with IP Office, 1 of which is a budget range with paper labels (the 1400 range) and the other of which is a relatively new range, the 9500 series.
Digital telephony is an older technology that can still suit an established office and many office phone systems are still based on digital technology, including one of our bundles. The downside is with digital handsets, the office needs to have 2 network points per person and an adequate rack space allowing for the expansion units required to connect the handsets to the phone system. On the upside however, with its own dedicated phone network, voice quality is guaranteed on digital, and there are no seperate licensing costs associated with handsets unlike the IP handset range. Compare Digital to IP systems.
The 9500 Series’ smart design, crystal-clear sound and productivity features make these phones an easy choice for companies looking to gain strategic competitive advantage from their communications infrastructure. The Avaya 9500 Digital Deskphone series features large, eye-friendly displays; paperless, all-digital labeling; and a high-quality integrated speakerphone that ensures everyone can hear and be heard.
There’s almost no learning curve with the 9500 Series. Almost any user will intuitively know to use the fixed keys to access the most common features and the flexible softkeys with contextual guidance and prompts. The series consists of two models, the 9504 and 9508. The 9500 series is compatible with Avaya IP Office platform V7 and above.
Combining the features of traditional telephones and the latest in telephone user experience, the IP Office 1400 series digital telephones provide critical capabilities not often found in competitively priced models. The IP Office 1400 series combines the best of past and present.
Fixed keys - familiar to any phone user - provide easy access to the most common features, while flexible softkeys provide contextual guidance and prompts for ease of use and efficiency. Integrated speakerphones and other advanced technology deliver clear, clean audio that will satisfy even discerning users. The IP Office 1400 series consists of three models, the 1403, 1408 and 1416. The series is compatible with the Avaya IP Office platform and a s a budget model, the 1400 range represents the right phone at the right price at the right time: with this range, the more price sensitive customer has additional functionality to choose from to suit the needs of their business.
The IP Office 9504 is the entry-level handset of the 9500 range, aimed at generally lighter users with straightforward needs.
The top of the Avaya 9500 range model is the 9508, which is designed for more advanced user needs, typically SMB execs.
The IP Office 1416 is designed for heavy telephony users who spend the majority of their day using their phone in the office.
The 32 button bm32 expansion module for the IP Office 1416 Digital Deskphone can be custom-programmed for user needs.
The IP Office 1403 digital phone is the base model, designed for locations such as lobbies or stockrooms in which people who use it desire simple phone use.
The IP Office 1408 digital phone is commonly used as a deskphone for executives who desire simple phone use, but do not rely on it as their sole form of communication.
