Bronze IT Server & Network Support - details

The Bronze IT Server & Network support package from Telefonix Voice & Data is our "pay as you go" package, which comprises:

  • Hardware & software fault resolution
  • Hours covered are 9am till 6pm Mon - Fri (excluding Bank Holidays)
  • Remote Support Charge: 50.00
  • First Hour On Site: 125.00
  • Each Hour Thereafter: 90.00
  • Half Day Booked Engineer: 400.00
  • Full Day Booked Engineer: 700.00
  • Full Day IT Consultancy: 995.00 - covers extra project planning & network troubleshooting
  • All prices subject to VAT at prevailing rate

Typical Telefonix Network & Server Support

FTT (Virtual Solution) had a complete server infrastructure rebuild. This comprised of specifying server hardware that was capable of running a minimum of 5 virtual machines to run domain controllers, exchange (email), file and print sharing, antivirus management and provide redundancy. Telefonix preconfigured the hardware and software off site for the virtual platform with the necessary virtual machines setup and resources allocated along with Server 2008 OS installations. Once complete, the equipment was taken to site, installed and all corporate data was transferred over to the new system. All network machines were then re-joined to the new domain. Other services such as email, data shares and print services were also setup on site during the installation.

EEC Noise control is an example of the same level of service that we provide for a small company as for a large company. EEC Noise control required a new server for installation of Microsoft SharePoint Services. Existing server was not of correct specification to run SharePoint alongside exchange (email), file and print services, antivirus management etc. The new server was specified above recommended specs for SharePoint as to provide future proofing and expansion for the SharePoint services. Server was pre configured with windows server 2003 operating system and SharePoint services pre-installed ready for customers SharePoint consultants to complete installation and migration to the new machine.

WFP needed a new installation of network hardware and UPS. The existing network hardware wasn't meeting the required specifications for throughput as the company has a high throughput of emails on a weekly basis. A New watchguard firewall device was installed to provide full load balancing across several internet connections and also provides content filtering, firewalling, VLAN routing and traffic management. The existing UPS at site needed renewing as it was not lasting long enough to allow the server to shut down correctly so the specification of a new UPS was provided and installed to meet this demand.

EDL - We provide and manage an MPLS network which interconnects around 30 branches to a central data centre. We host all the email and file management services and provide a Citrix environment for the users to work on via thin clients.
